Use ffprobe.

Code: Select all

ffprobe -show_streams -show_format input.mp4
More specific:

Code: Select all

$ ffprobe -v error -select_streams v:0 -show_entries stream=avg_frame_rate,width,height:format=bit_rate -of default=nw=1 input.mp4
width=320
height=240
avg_frame_rate=25/1
bit_rate=36369
