Video Subtitle - filter_complex color dingy

Post by ralliart2004 » Mon Apr 22, 2019 5:54 pm

I am burning subtitles onto video via a command like this:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -loglevel debug -i uploads/test/larry.mp4 -strict -2 -filter_complex subtitles=/uploads/test/larry.srt:force_style='Fontname=HomemadeApple.ttf,Fontsize=32,PrimaryColour=&H00E4E4E2,OutlineColour=&H00A27EAF,BackColour=&H40000000,Bold=0,Italic=1,BorderStyle=1,Outline=5,Shadow=3,Alignment=3,MarginL=10,MarginR=20,MarginV=15' uploads/test/final-larry.mp4
The colors do not seem very bright. Taking the same colors else where and they are bright. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Perhaps try to mimic ffmpeg color syntax https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-utils.html#color-syntax

I am using Sub Station Alpha v4.00+ styling. Those color syntax won't work.
