I hope I am asking this question in the right sub-forum.
I am currently running a crontab script to pull screenshots from my Unify G3 camera.
Eventually I would like to combine all those shots in to a timelapse movie......so far the intro.
If I make a screenshot directly from the Unify app, the image is 2.2 mb.
If I make the screenshot with the ffmpeg command, the file is 99KB.
I think the image quality of that 99kb file is not enough to render a good looking timelapse.
So idealy i would like to pull the best quality image from the RTSP feed of the camera.......
I am using the following command to do so....
ffmpeg -rtsp_transport tcp -i rtsp://x.x.x.x:0000/aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa -t 0.001 /PATH/$DATETIME.jpg...........resulting in the mentioned 99KB picture.....
So the concept works........I am just hoping that one of you can help me improve the command to get a better quality out of it......
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.....
