How to remove GRYO stablization data from 360 video with ffmpeg

Post by 360guy » Thu Apr 11, 2019 3:02 am

Hello Everyone,

I have a problem in trying to solve with Windows Media Player not playing certain 360 video files with embedded GRYO stabilization data.

The 360 video file plays in ffplay, VLC but not in Windows Media Player. I get 0xc00d36c4 error code.

I know the 360 video file has GRYO stabilization data in the file. How can I use ffmpeg on this file to make it work in Windows Media player without losing video quality but to only remove the GRYO data?

I hope I explained myself correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the video file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/08spo4pmotwb8 ... .MP4?dl=0

Thank you.
