Reduce audio volume on live stream

Post by PeterCarnyx » Fri Mar 29, 2019 4:37 pm

Hi, We are streaming using IP camera presets but it has no user adjustable volume level on the mic other than "loud". Is it possible to add an argument in the code below to reduce by either 50% or ?Db?

Code: Select all

@Echo off
TITLE LIVE STREAMER
color A
:Start
C:\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg.exe -i rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554//live1.sdp -c:a aac -b:a 48k -c:v copy -f flv rtmp://00.000.000.000:1935/live/chichmedia2
echo Program terminated at %Date% %Time% with Error %ErrorLevel% >> c:\ffmpeg\bin\CHICHESTERffmpeg.log

Hi PeterCarnyx,

I've used the following command when converting video formats, but don't know if it's the same for streaming?

Code: Select all

-filter:a "volume=-15dB"
PureBasic Scripts & Programs :: Deform Image: MLS :: Video Snipping Tool (applications using FFmpeg)

Hi JHPJHP: Brilliant it works perfectly. Simply entered the code after [-b:a 48k]. Thanks for the help. All the best, Peter
