FFMPEG as VirtualDub External Enoder

Post by Vespin » Wed Mar 20, 2019 4:52 pm

Hello all! First post here.

I can't for the life of me get FFMPEG to work with VirtualDub. The following line works fine on a command line:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -i 01.mkv -c:v copy test.mkv
But if I try the closest I can in VirtualDub's external encoder...

Code: Select all

Command arguments: -i - -c:v copy "%(tempvideofile)"

Output file:" %(outputname).h264
...it doesn't work at all. What can I do to fix this? Thanks!
