Combine more than two images combines only first two.

Post by WexOneOne »

Hello.

I want to take a sequence of images and stitch them all together into one image.

I use this command:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -i img.0001.exr -i img.0002.exr -i img.0003.exr -i img.0004.exr -i img.0005.exr -i img.0006.exr -filter_complex hstack stitched.jpg
The result i'm getting is a stitched images but it contains only the first two images.

If I do this:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -i img.0001.exr -i img.0002.exr -i img.0003.exr -i img.0004.exr -i img.0005.exr -i img.0006.exr -filter_complex hstack,tile=8x1 stitched.jpg
I get the right width of the image, I mean the output image is wide and can hold all images but its just black in the tiles.

What am I doing wrong?
What am I missing?

Any help will do.

Thank you.

If you ever had read documentation of hstack filter, you would notice that it needs number of inputs, by default that number is 2.

Thank you(?)

Works with :

Code: Select all

hstack=inputs=[int of inputs]
