Hi,

i use an online stream and want to broadcast this to our lan via udp:

ffmpeg -nostdin -v debug -stats -re -i "https://zdf1314-lh.akamaihd.net/i/de14_ ... _av-p.m3u8" -c copy -an -f mpegts udp:239.255.1.4:1234 -threads 40 -bufsize 4300k 2> /tmp/ffmpeg_zdf.log

it is working quiet well but after an indefinite time it stops without any issue. the process is still runinng and logs say this:
[hls,applehttp @ 0x55d4560534c0] Opening 'https://zdf1314-lh.akamaihd.net/i/de14_ ... p.ts?sd=10' for reading
[https @ 0x55d456667460] request: GET /i/[email protected]/segment8466715_3096_av-p.ts?sd=10 HTTP/1.1
User-Agent: Lavf/57.83.100
Accept: */*
Connection: close
Host: zdf1314-lh.akamaihd.net
Cookie: _alid_=Hf/kF5ifuoYK6AIoc9Fsww==
Icy-MetaData: 1

[mpegts @ 0x55d4564495a0] Continuity check failed for pid 17 expected 1 got 0
[mpegts @ 0x55d4564495a0] Continuity check failed for pid 0 expected 1 got 11
[mpegts @ 0x55d4564495a0] Continuity check failed for pid 4096 expected 7 got 0
so not realy a issue to see.

after restart the process it works again, sometimes 6 hours sometimes only few minutes...

does anyone have a idea?

No, I have a similar issue. In my case input is rtmp stream from localhost so it's not a network. Disconnection always happens when input stream read traffic counters comes to 4GB limit. Still not sure is it my media server (latest AMS) or ffmpeg (4.0.2 zeranoe build). Can't see anything meaningful in server logs. Willing to test with Linux ffmpeg build.

Publishing instance of the same version ffmpeg from dshow capture to the same server runs a weeks without disconnections.
