Issue capturing stream

Post by steinrr » Sun Mar 29, 2015 9:25 pm

I have been using an old version of ffmpeg for capturing some online streams to mkv. It has always worked fine. If I try to download one of the recent builds, it gives me an error:

Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?): Invalid argument

Screenshot with version and params for the working version:

Any ideas why the new builds fails?

do you have a single file failing example? Maybe ask on the ffmpeg-user ML [if nobody answers you there, file a trac?]

Try running:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -i http://nordond37a-f.akamaihd.net/i/no/open/e7/e7ce57559d11e341d6048d128c40f8697701cb56/29ae0629-1b05-4b19-b5a9-dd601ede6a0a_,141,316,563,1266,2250,.mp4.csmil/index_4_av.m3u8 -c copy test.mkv
