Does anyone know if someone is continuing to make the x265, 10bit builds? I can't see any on sourceforge.
Also, can I ask a really stupid question. Why does it need to be a seperate binary? Will it ever be an all in one? Seems kinda odd to me, but I'm not a developer.

thanks.
for some reason, there's no up-to-date already-built binaries with 10bit libx265 ffmpeg, but there are some scripts, as posted above, to help you build the exe on your own(under windows or linux).
I don't know why ffmpeg hasnt adopt x265 with 8bit+10bit+12bit all in one, while there is all-in-one x265.exe already: http://msystem.waw.pl/x265/ and it's very convenient.
someone did succeeded on ffmpeg: https://github.com/rdp/ffmpeg-windows-b ... issues/209

Thanks for the response, I wasn't sure if I wasn't looking hard enough.
Does anyone know why they wouldn't? There must be a logical reason, maybe it's a testing thing due to the current state it's in? (Although it's working fantastically for me)

I'd much prefer an 8/10/12 bit version in 64bit and I dunno at least a once monthly build or something.
A bit unfortunate.

Yes, I agree it would be great to have 10-bit support included in the builds. I have spent the last couple hours trying to locate a build that can do 10-bit that works on my win64 machine.

;) maybe you could take a shot with this script. I've tried and it seems to build working ffmpeg with x265(8+10+12)

The windows build helper script noted above is pretty reliable. That's your best bet.

It would be fantastic Zeranoe did 10bit builds. I'm OK with have two sets of bins. Building is PITA.

Is there a chance getting an actual build of FFmpeg for Windows 10 64bit including an actual x265 with 10bit capabilities?
Unluckily I don't find a ready compiled version and I don't understand what to do with the scrips to compile one on my own. Already tried to do but I didn't succeed.
Could anybody help please or Zeranoe, could you please build a Win64 FFmpeg with 10bit x265?

What reasons are against releasing a 8/10/12bit ready x265 build? I only understand x264 can only be compiled for one bitdepth.

Newest x264 is now multi-bitdepth as well.

(I, too, wished zeranoe's builds would be multi-bitdepth x264 + x265. Many people want it.)
