Can you compile builds with x265,so that we can use both 8 bit and 10 bit? :)

There is an option for that in my script, if it's helpful:

OK I will do monthly builds and announce them here after they occur:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3707

so subscribe to that thread if you want to know when it happens.

Cheers!

:(
Due to some cross-compiling problems using the script above, I also need an ffmpeg binary with libx265 10bit enabled, hope to be included

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if someone is continuing to make the x265, 10bit builds? I can't see any on sourceforge.
Also, can I ask a really stupid question. Why does it need to be a separate binary? Will it ever be an all in one? Seems kinda odd to me, but I'm not a developer.

thanks.

for some reason, there's no up-to-date already-built binaries with 10bit libx265 ffmpeg, but there are some scripts, as posted above, to help you build the exe on your own(under windows or linux).
I don't know why ffmpeg hasnt adopt x265 with 8bit+10bit+12bit all in one, while there is all-in-one x265.exe already: http://msystem.waw.pl/x265/ and it's very convenient.
someone did succeeded on ffmpeg: https://github.com/rdp/ffmpeg-windows-b ... issues/209
