A buddy of mine tried it also and got the same thing. He told me to use hulu.sh and that it worked for him and he was able to get the movie with no problems. Like I said above I'm not too bright with all this so if someone can please assist me to get this work I'd be forever indebted to you. Here is what I did step by step.C:\Users\pathhidden>perl c:/flash/gfv http://www.hulu.com/watch/215895 --subtitles

Couldn't download any videos.
1. First I downloaded this "a-master.zip" file (link above in previous post) from some github. This where the contents inside the zip.
2. I took the hulu.sh file and put it in C:\cygwin\usr\local\bin\ like you said, after I downloaded and installed Cygwin, I didn't checkmark or uncheckmark anything during the install, I just let it install normal. (btw what is Cygwin?) Anyways here is what i have no inside that folder along with rtmpdump.
3. When I open the Cygwin Terminal app and type in "hulu.sh http://www.hulu.com/watch/215895" I get this. It opens up FireFox, the Hulu video plays and then the browser closes after a few seconds.
I'm getting the 'dumped too soon, retry' error every single time and never succeeding. What am I doing wrong? BTW, I'm on Windows8 64x bit if that matters?
Thanks for your help guys,
