Hide CMD window and the video window's border FFplay

Post by oussabbas » Mon Oct 10, 2016 12:48 pm

Hello,

Can anyone help me,
I used this command to play a video named episode.mp4 : ffplay episode.mp4 -an -x 500 -y 500
and now I want to play the video without displaying the windown's borders and the cmd processing window!!!?

Thanks in advance

I *did* find a nice workaround to it as I am using openbox desktop manager and simply added the ffplay application class in my rc.xml. Now, every ffplay instance launches without a single border or title bar.

xdotool + openbox + ffplay = beautiful :D

For Windows, I've found 2 utilities specifically to hide a command window normally displayed when a command is run. They both run equally well and differ only slightly from one another:

1- HideExec http://code.kliu.org/misc/hideexec/

2- Quiet http://www.joeware.net/freetools/tools/quiet/index.htm
