Using Xvid as encoder

Hi all;
I'm working on a project in windows, which implements ffmpeg as the video de/encoding solution. I was able to compile ffmpeg under MinGW with the following configure flags:

./configure –enable-shared –enable-static –enable-memalign-hack –enable-gpl –extra-cflags=-I/local/include –extra-ldflags=-L/local/lib –enable-libx264 –enable-libxvid

i downloaded Xvid and x264 source from the builds page, and for both all I did was
make install

Now when I try to encode a 4k bmp sequence into an avi file, if I specify the codec to be libx264, it works with a few warnings (non-strictly-monotonic PTS)
Stream #0.0: Video: libx264, yuv420p, 3840x2160, q=10-51, 16000 kb/s, 90k tbn, 30 tbc

But if i try to encode the same sequence with the codec specified as libxvid, i get this
Output #0, avi, to 'Output\aviout.avi':
Stream #0.0: Video: [0][0][0][0] / 0x0000 (hq), yuv420p, 3840x2160, q=2-31,
16000 kb/s, 90k tbn, 30 tbc
ERROR VIDEOLIBRARY :: openOutVidFile() : video codec can not be found

Suggestions on Xvid & the x264 warning?

do the "normal" builds give you the warnings? I'm not sure on the libxvid stuff...

yeah i downloaded the lastest build from the Builds page and the warning shows up as well. I'm using libx264 to encode a 4k video file, it's able to do the job but it complains about random things.. I'll post the message if I ever run it again
