libav AVAudioConvert? Where is the definition?

Post by jiapei100 »

Hi, all:

Environment:

Ubuntu 12.10 + default ffmpeg from Ubuntu repository 6:0.8.4-0ubuntu0.12.10.1

I then installed libav-source, which I guess is the source code of this default ffmpeg and contains ffmpeg.c as well...
However, I noticed in the source file ffmpeg.c of libav-source, AVAudioConvert is defined, which can not be found in the default ffmpeg header files. That seems to tell that libav-source is not what has been installed as the source of default ffmpeg in Ubuntu 12.10 .

Now, the problem come back again, where is the source code of ffmpeg.c of default ffmpeg 6:0.8.4-0ubuntu0.12.10.1 in Ubuntu 12.10's default repository??

Cheers

maybe the particular version of ffmpeg you have from your distro came from "ffmpeg" mainline at that point (not libav, a prominent fork)...?

Hi, rogerdpack:

you are possibly correct. However, how can I get the source ffmpeg.c for the default ffmpeg from the default Ubuntu 12.10 repository?

https://github.com/libav maybe I'm not too familiar with the fork.
