Can't convert DTS audio, -strict -2 not recognised ?

Post by vidvid0 »

I have a video file that has DTS audio, but seems FFmpeg do not "understand" the "-strict -2" parameter to use the audio codec dta (dca), see below all the information:

Commandline:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -strict -2 -i "dts_orchestra-DWEU.vob" -q:v 3.3 -c copy -c:v m
peg2video -c:a dts -y test.vob
FFmpeg (Zeranoe) version:

Code: Select all

How is possible that even if I use "-strict -2" or "-strict experimental" there is this error ?

Please help, thank you.

Why are you re-encoding in the first place?

Option placement matters. You're attempting to use "-strict -2" as an input option.

You should always provide the complete console output and not just sections.
