FFmpeg-php on Windows Apache PHP - Wont start

Post by nomaam » Tue Aug 12, 2014 5:51 am

I am running Windows 7 with the newest stable version of Apache and PHP.

I am trying to install FFmpeg-php to be on my local Apache server.

I keep getting this error

Code: Select all

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:\\php\\ext\\php_ffmpeg.dll' - %1 is not a valid Win32 application.\r\n in Unknown on line 0

So the obvious thought would be that I'm using the wrong .dll file and I'm using the 64 bit version by mistake. But I've downloaded several 32bit versions and I still get the same error.

I've followed half a dozen tutorials on installing this but with the same error.

Could someone suggest any other possible things that I could be doing wrong?

Or has the FFmpeg-php.dll project been abandoned and is maybe out of date??

The install seems very simple so I'm not sure what else I could do.

Thanks

ffmpeg-php is an ancient, dead project. See Using FFmpeg from PHP scripts.
