I have a question about the 'stats' available when using ffPlay.exe. First off this isn't part of an application, i downloaded ffMpeg from ffMpeg.org and through the same site found the parameters needed to play a file using ffPlay. So, i'm using a batch to run the following:
ffplay -x 480 -y 270 -showmode 2 -loop 0 Y:\TestVideo\Fill01.mov
once the video starts playing (even though i've decided not to watch the output on screen) i'm monitoring the cmd prompt for stats. Primarily the item i'm looking for is Dropped Frames, as I'm analyzing ffPlay from a network drive. With that said i'm pretty sure the 'fd=' portion of the stats is Frames Dropped, is this correct? And when playing on a loop will this continually augment this fd= number, or when the clip restarts will this number reset to 0?
Thanks in advance!
Any other question that don't fit into the other support categorizes.
