Deleting the libpthread.dll.a did it.

Thanks for all the help ajaja :D

Apologies for the 6-month necro, but I was incredibly glad to find this thread! I'm basically in the exact same position as Spanielk (the OP). I initially followed Zeranoe's suggested method (post #2) but compiling on my Ubuntu machine kept failing at the line:

Code: Select all

wget -nv -t 5 ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/binutils/binutils-2.24.tar.bz2
with the error "wget: unable to resolve host address ".tar.bz2"". This could be a firewall issue on my end, I'm not sure.

So I then tried Ajaja's method, and it seems to have worked :D. Here's the output from a wav file I've just encoded using libfdk_aac:

Code: Select all

D:\gily\codecTests>C:\MinGW\msys\1.0\home\gily\ffmpeg\ffmpeg.exe -i boz48_stereo.wav -ar 48000 -ac 1 -ab 384k -acodec libfdk_aac boz_aac.aac
