Calculate HDR metadata using deocded 10 bit YUV

Hi,

I want to calculate HDR metadata like MaxCLL & MaxFLL using decoded 10bit YUV.
I was wondering is there any work happening like this. If yes would you please provide some information.

maybe use ffprobe and/or mediainfo and parse their outputs. i'm attempting that, with not a lot of success (they don't always find all of it in the metadata).

Thanks for the reply.

Actually I want to compare MetaData against whats there in the content.
I understand that we need to use calculations as per smpte-st2084.

My queries are:
Can I use YUV somehow as an input to these calculations OR conversion to RGB is mandatory?
How to convert pixel value to "N" to derive "L" as per EOTF Linearization Equation as per section 4.2 EOTF Linearization Equation.
