Re: Windows XP compatible non-SSE2 FFmpeg builds

Unless specified otherwise , I'm always using the latest git version . And you can easily find out for yourself. With the SHA-1 commit hash, ffmpeg-N-93674-g 1e01f66 , visit https://github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/commit/ 1e01f66 and you'll see that this commit was made on April 22 ( but pushed on April 26...

Windows XP compatible non-SSE2 FFmpeg builds

(Kyle ("Zeranoe") accidentally removed the " Making Zeranoe builds work under XP & XP builds by rogerdpack "-topic, so I've created a new one.) I still own an AMD Athlon XP 3200+ (no SSE2) pc running a highly tweaked Windows XP Pro SP3 install, which I'm still quite font of. An increasing amount of ...

Re: Windows XP Support And Intel QSV

Kyle already told he did: This was an accident on my part. Please Reino do NOT create new topics about this argument, just post here. Otherwise how can we receive notifications if you change often the topic? [Offical Announcements] "Announcements made by Zeranoe". This is the wrong section for such ...

Kyle did indeed. Before the end of the month I'll try to make another FFmpeg build and create a new topic.

Re: Crash on launch

I've had a look at your MinGW-w64 build script, Kyle. Very educational btw. I takes a LONG time to finish, but it finishes without errors. However, I do still prefer to use (Hendrik's?) https://files.1f0.de/mingw/scripts/ as it still contains pthread. [edit] The patch for 'os_defines.h' fails to app...

Re: Building in libmp3lame

I'm sure you already read Carl's answer: "lame still works without pkgconfig."
FFmpeg's 'configure' doesn't demand a pkg-config file for libmp3lame:

Code: Select all

enabled libmp3lame       && require "libmp3lame >= 3.98.3" lame/lame.h lame_set_VBR_quality -lmp3lame $libm_extralibs

Re: Crash on launch

It may be old, but it still works. It also means that Roger is still using an old version of your MinGW-w64 build script.
I'll have a look at it one day.
Could you explain what you mean by "export the path"?
