Hmmm. Something changed with OpenCL device numbering in Windows/ffmpeg.

What used to be consistently :1.0 for an nvidia device has now turned into consistently :0.0 (with no warning).

Until recently, the command below used to consistently report NVIDIA CUDA device as number 1.0 and the other as 0.0 (on multiple computers). Hello, 2 things. 1 Apparently ffmpeg can be built with --enable-gcrypt so I thought I'd give it a try. libgpg-error is a dependency of libgcrypt. Yes, building against https://git.videolan.org/?p=ffmpeg/nv-c ... ;a=summary commit 450c616c7242afc577fb6ecd01732495fc263520 works.

Hello. Just for interest if you're building ffmpeg yourself :- I just cross-compiled ffmpeg using a variation of deadsix27's python build system (sort of equivalent to Zeranoe's) which builds against the latest git commit for the NV codec headers built here https://git.videolan.org/?p=ffmpeg/nv-code...

don't know sorry. just out of interest, what happens
1. when you omit the cuvid stuff and just do the encode with nvenc
2. when you use the latest ffmpeg build
