version of x264 code used ?

Hello. I used to get frequent x264 builds from a place which no longer exists. Official x264 builds at videolan seem comparatively infrequent. The ffmpeg builds are almost daily. I am wondering if the ffmpeg code for h264 uses the same source ? Hence - does ffmepg include "newer" x264 code than offi...

Re: adjusting loudness

OK. Nice. I'm not sure what is meant by "(but it still not work with dB)". Does this mean (a) the command-line arithmetic doesn't work when used in "volume=volume=yyydB:precision=float" , or (b) the internal ffmpeg volume calculations and volume encoding using eg "volume=volume=7.582833dB:precision=...

Re: adjusting loudness

Thanks ! Nice.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to do floating point arithmetic in DOS and then I can do away with the vbscript.
(I have an updated .bat which finds min(adjLUFS,adjVOL) and uses that per http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p ... ost1658934

adjusting loudness

I hope to adjust loudness and convert to .mp2, via Windows .bat files and ffmpeg. However I am currently using brute force to calculate the adjustment. Can someone suggestion a simpler way to do it ? So... the outputs from these look interesting: ".\ffmpeg.exe" -y -vn -nostats -threads 8 -i ".\test....

Re: vid.stab

I received a notification email (below) which suggests that "ffmpeg 2.0" has arrived and it includes the statement "- vidstabdetect and vidstabtransform filters for video stabilization using the vid.stab library" Does this mean that the builds here now also contain the features listed below includin...

Re: Batch Script to Convert to MP3

Thanks! A suggestion - added extra quotes for source filenames containing spaces ?

@ECHO OFF

SET bitrate=320

FOR %%A IN (%*) DO (
IF NOT EXIST "%%~nA.mp3" %~dp0\ffmpeg.exe -i "%%A" -vn -c:a libmp3lame -b:a %bitrate%k "%%~nA.mp3"
)
