Re: Help with android build

Thanks again s74ck3r for all of your work because this was driving me insane lol.

I compiled/cross-comipled for at least 4 diff OSes with librtmp but never experienced this lol.

13.0 Alphas seems to be the only ones reverting the file not 12.1 but he needs hardware acceleration.

Re: Help with android build

Good news but also "bad news". It looks like S74ck3r you file does in fact work with no problem. My buddy seems to have a DNS bug somewhere. In my XML file I put "live2.ilive.to" and never had an issue but his Android in XBMC log claims it's having issues resolving said address so I as a test put th...

Re: Help with android build

Did he turn it off and on again after replacing the lib? (I know it's a tech support cliche but I think in this case it is necessary :)) We did some further testing and he said for some reason now every single reboot it puts back the old librtmp.so so he is unable to test. EDIT: He tried it with th...

Re: Help with android build

Well not sure what's going on this time. My buddy tried the file and it said XBMC isn't even attempting to start (at least visually) and the errors seem kineda bizzare. Also he reinstalled XBMC just in case before attempting this. V/XBMC ( 4072): 09:49:31 T:1745423928 DEBUG: Loading: /data/app-lib/o...

Re: Help with android build

Hi, I've just uploaded a new librtmp.so here https://bitbucket.org/S74ck3r/rtmpdump-android/downloads/librtmp.so Can you give it a go? It seems to work ok for me (Android 4.2.2 on a Nexus 7) with the 4od plugin. Just copy it over the original and reboot. Richard Well we tried it and it's definitely...

Re: Help with android build

Also just to explain further.

I'm attempting to make a file with KSV's latest patches.

Just an update others are experiencing the exact same issue as mentioned on XBMC.org:

Re: Help with android build

S74ck3R do you have a list of the steops anywhere or even a copy of the toolchain you used? I'm beginning to wonder if the toolchain I'm using is screwed up in some manner. Because I keep getting different errors if I try XLDFLAGS="-static" or other ways to attempt to statically link the libm library.

Re: Help with android build

I'll have a go at recreating this when I get home. In the mean time is it possible to get a copy of the logcat with the error? thanks Richard No problem on my end but it will be a while until I can get a hold of my friend who actually has the Android to give you the logcat. EDIT: Here's the main pa...

Re: Help with android build

Maybe S74ck3r or someone else can help me on this one. I have a weird thing going on. I am attempting to cross-compile using Cygwin + Android NDK on Win 8, very similar to how I did for iOS and others. Anyway, my buddy's Nexus 7 is running with XBMC experimental for hardware acceleration. Everything...
