Re: SRT subtitles hang

Do you mean extract the embedded SRT file from the MKV?

SRT subtitles hang

When I run the following command: ffmpeg -y -i file.mkv -filter_complex subtitles=file.mkv:si=0 -c:a copy -c:v libx264 -f mpegts file.ts on a file with embedded SRT subtitles, FFmpeg takes a long time (a minute or so) to proceed past the following lines: [Parsed_subtitles_0 @ 00000000003524a0] Shape...

Re: SSA regression

You were right, I left it running for minutes and it started. Strange that it did it for your build and not mine, and not your older builds, though. Mine are compiled with FontConfig too by the way. How can I do a backtrace? Edit: Also, do you know of a general command line I can run to just generat...

Re: SSA regression

I'm unable to reproduce the bug. I haven't had a crash with the newest build, using the command and the subtitle file you provided. I don't see the burned in subtitles, but I think that might be something else. I do not get a crash. Can you try another input video? It might be something with mkv an...

Re: SSA regression

Please test the latest builds, each of the dependent libs for libass were recompiled with the newer toolchain. Thanks for the new builds. Unfortunately they don't work either. Here's the output: ffmpeg version N-58241-g260fc0d Copyright (c) 2000-2013 the FFmpeg developers built on Nov 18 2013 02:22...

Re: SSA regression

Thanks for the reply! Can you provide the full output of: ffmpeg -v 9 -loglevel 99 -i input.mkv -vf "ass=input.ass" -c:a ac3 -c:v mpeg2video -f vob file.mpeg Sure. Here it is for the latest build, which does not work: ffmpeg version N-58115-g150c554 Copyright (c) 2000-2013 the FFmpeg developers buil...

SSA regression

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know there was a regression between "20130601-git-716dbc7" and "20130602-git-5711e4f" with regards to external ASS/SSA subtitle support. Builds from 5711e4f onwards, including the latest one, freeze up when adding an external .ass file, while versions up to 716dbc7 wo...

AviSynth

I'm trying to switch from compiling FFmpeg on Windows to compiling on Linux for Windows but it doesn't like the enable-avisynth flag (since AviSynth is Windows-only) but I noticed that the Zeranoe builds have AviSynth enabled. How do you do it?
