Re: Using Xvid as encoder

yeah i downloaded the lastest build from the Builds page and the warning shows up as well. I'm using libx264 to encode a 4k video file, it's able to do the job but it complains about random things.. I'll post the message if I ever run it again

Using Xvid as encoder

Hi all; I'm working on a project in windows, which implements ffmpeg as the video de/encoding solution. I was able to compile ffmpeg under MinGW with the following configure flags: ./configure –enable-shared –enable-static –enable-memalign-hack –enable-gpl –extra-cflags=-I/local/include –extra-ldfla...

Re: FFmpeg and Visual Studio 2008

Great news! Tuckets and drums! Just found this link: http://win32.libav.org/  Hello! Umm I tried to link the list of .a libraries generated by Mingw32 & msys, my program compiled but I kept on getting a debug assertion failed message when I run the application. I'm using ffmpeg version 0.6...

Re: What am I missing?

"是c,c++调用底层文件操作函数不同的问题,c++下需要改一下文件处理函数" If my Chinese is still good, it translates to "C and C++ have different ways to use the functions in "root files" (system files?), in C++ you may need to change how functions are handled". If that's the case.. all I tried was to use the extern C for the includ...

The goal is to build ffmpeg so I can compile it and use the libraries in a large program in VS2005. I got this working with downloading the prebuilt version of ffmpeg 0.6 (which includes dll...

Re: ffmpeg converting files in a row?

A tedious way would be to use something equivalent as a batch file.. I've done similar task with batch files before so ffmpeg should work with scripting

Re: Unresolved issue

yes it's probably possible (--enable-static on the command line--see that other link for the configure options he used). --enable-static --enable-win32thread --host=i686-w64-mingw32 --cross-prefix=i686-w64-mingw32- I haven't actually tried it though, so YMMV. Yeah I tried all possible combos of sta...
