Builds became slow?

Hello folks, I didn't did in deep tests, but... it's just me or the latest builds has become quite slow? IIRC, in July/August they became faster, something like 10 FPS or so, there i had 60-70 FPS while converting movies (resizing and changing bitrate, you may remember the script i've posted on this...

Re: MPlayer-Snapshot for Windows

What are the requirements for the program to work as best as possible? The 64-bits version of FFmpeg and a SSD disk... works, but with an extremely slow speed. Unfortunately, ffmpeg does not have a interactive mode.. and therefore it must be launched several times to extract the frames sequentially...

Re: MPlayer-Snapshot for Windows

use the included mplayer.exe, it was included for a reason..

also, if you have a mplayer folder in system32 (or in the PATH where you'll copy this mplayer.exe) rename it to avoid conflics..

Re: MPlayer-Snapshot for Windows

i can't get this thing to work 100% reliable under Windows...

[url-removed]...

Maybe it would be easy to create a ffmpeg version, aka ffmpeg-snapshot, or to request to the MPC ppl to implement a batch functionality..

Re: MPlayer-Snapshot for Windows

the "load" command issue was already fixed, even under windows it expects linux path separators... i'm now dealing with frame positions which does not seems to work properly, most likely due the mplayer output was heavily changed since the 2008 (mplayer-snapshot date).....

Re: MPlayer-Snapshot for Windows

Didn't know that program existed, and found it interesting.. so.. after some headache due dependencies and compiler errors i was able to build a win32 binary of mplayer-snapshot, however... there seems to be some weird problem with the mplayer binary at netfarm(.it)... typing eg: "load C:\somepath\m...

Re: XviD 64 broken?

nice you found it interesting  I agree with you that x264 is lots better, however... it's quite slow as well, i use it for important/personal videos (dv, etc) but not for simple movies/tv-shows rips... maybe in a few years with faster computers and optimized code it can replace xvid/mpeg4 c...
