Re: I am new, pls help me cut video

It looks like the batch file is interpreting the %03d in a manner you're not wanting. (It works fine like that directly from a command prompt.) Not sure the "correct" method to fix it, so I simply tried adding an extra %, so %%3d, & that looks to work (in the batch file). (Likewise, it breaks things...

Re: Error ffmpeg

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish here: ffmpeg -i input.mkv -vcodec copy -acodec copy -ss 00:00:00 -t 01:11:00 output1.mkv \ -vcodec copy -acodec copy -ss 01:11:00 -t 02:22:33 output2.mkv With the first part, everything up to output1.mkv, oh, I see, you want to make 2 cuts. Offhand, I'm not ...

Re: Error ffmpeg

ffmpeg.exe would need to be either in C:\Users\sky, or somewhere in your PATH (or pointed to directly, where ever it happens to exist).

How do I set or change the PATH system variable?

Re: ffmpeg generated video that VLC cannot play?

As a start I would skip the converting part & simply transcode the .ts to .mp4. > ffmpeg.exe -i video.ts -c copy out.mp4 and see what that does? You're not specifically setting any parameters for the audio part. Is that your intention? Your sample doesn't seem to be (over) there any longer? You coul...

Re: Command line syntax: cmd.exe is fine, but .bat file doesn't work

Stick some PAUSE & ECHO in your batch file so you can see what your variables might or might not be set/expanded to. SET OUT=C:\OUT ECHO OUT=: %OUT% SET OFILE=%OUT%\%~n1_CONCAT%~x1 ECHO Output filename: "%OFILE%" ECHO. > %OUT%\CONCAT1.TXT PAUSE Try %d%.png as your variable. (Not sure if that will be...

Re: How can i concat properly?

Do the individual pieces play as expected? What are the full command lines you are using for your concat? I use something like this: ffmpeg -f concat -safe 0 -i %OUT%\CONCAT3.TXT -c copy "%OFILE%" Where CONCAT3.TXT is something like: file 'H:\Blue Angels Flight 1.mp4' file 'H:\Blue Angels Flight 2.m...

Re: No subtitles with ffmplay.exe

I gather this is an external subtitle (rather then hardcoded) that you're talking about? For playback, nothing should be needed to get an external sub file to display - other then to have it named the same as the video file - with exception of the extension & both video & sub residing in the same di...
