That's the desktop version though; I use the web service which defaults to -1dBTP for EBU R128 (-23 LUFS) and higher, which is fine for my purposes.

OK thanks for the clarification. Yes, after wider testing I would agree that Auphonic is more reliable than Loudnorm when it comes to processing short audio samples especially. On the other hand the Auphonic Loudness Normalizer doesn't permit setting the target LRA and TP.

A bit late to the party I know but I've just been checking out Loudnorm and WinLoud and I'm quite impressed with the results - certainly up to the mark of Auphonic's Loudness Normalizer IMHO. Out of interest: Version 1.2 published on http://www.muxson.com/winloud Some bug fixes, ....Check mark color...
