Re: cross-compiling ffmpeg with --enable-libtensorflow ?

Agree. Super Resolution scale to 3x or 4x, then downscale to make an SD->HD conversion. It should be sharper, but have no platform to test it.

Re: UTVideo, Force 4:2:2 709 version (ULH2)?

Circling back. It works as of this post using "utvideo" as the codec and -colorspace 1 (1=MPEG's BT.709 indicator). I used Rogerdpack's helper script to make the executable on 2/24/2015 and so far so good. "-pix_fmt yuv422p -codec:v utvideo -colorspace 1" is the important part of the command after t...

Re: 10-bit x264 build

You didn't say what you wanted to wanted to store the 10-bit AVC in. I just pipe to the VLC x264 builds and output as an MP4 without audio. I don't know if that will work for you. If you need audio, you can add it with MP4Box or FFMPEG on a post-encode command in a batch file (windows) or shell scri...

Re: OpenJPEG 2.0.0 not compiling like 1.5.1

Thank you! I will give it a shot. What would you need in order to put it into your builds?

Thanks SO much!

Re: SWS_DITHER - Cannot Run

The man shoots, he scores! Thank you!! Quality wasn't exactly what I expected, so we're working on a Floyd-Steinberg instead. Thanks for the hand!

OpenJPEG 2.0.0 not compiling like 1.5.1

config.zip I imagine that OpenJPEG 2.0 needs some reconfiguration that will make it more FFMPEG-friendly. Therefore, I'm wondering if anyone can help guide me to the best way to go about doing this? There is a page in OpenJPEG's tickets that calls out the issue with doing this. The reason I want to...

SWS_DITHER - Cannot Run

ISSUE - As you can see below, I cannot seem to call or change the settings of sws_dither in the -sws_flags option. I'm doing 10-bit to 8-bit conversion testing on some assets and the standard rounding does not appear to work well for me on true gradients. I would like to test some of the others but ...

Re: UTVideo, Force 4:2:2 709 version (ULH2)?

Ah. Crap... Thanks for the note. I didn't see the commit message.

I'm trying Mencoder tomorrow, then, using STDOut of FFMPEG since now I need J2K MXF and ProResHQ support.

Thanks again,
Chris.

UTVideo, Force 4:2:2 709 version (ULH2)?

I have the 07/03 build of FFMPEG on Windows from this site. The FFMPEG files list support was added for the BT.709 version of UTVideo lossless compression. I am feeding the command a UYVY uncompressed AVI file as I do not have an HDYC file. I am in the middle of trying the color transfer characteris...

AACPlus?

I read on the FFMPEG page that aacplus/HE-AAC is now built into FFMPEG as of October. How do I turn it on in your build, if it is indeed enabled?

Thank you for your time and hard work.
