Re: WinLoud released. Loudness normalize with Loudnorm.

Agree on that you cannot set the LRA in Auphonic.
You can set TP though. See in Preferences/Algorithm Details/Maximum peak level...

But I won't expand more on Auphonic here as it is off topic.
You can PM me for more exchange if you want.

Re: Filterchain issue

Hi John,

Thanks for your input but I can't make sense of it.
Can you be a bit more explicit please?

Thank you,

Re: WinLoud released. Loudness normalize with Loudnorm.

Hi Inapickle, It is never too late to discover good things! ;) My experience with Auphonic was much better then with Loudnorm (/WinLoud)! But I guess it depends on the circumstances (Target Lougness, LRA, TP and file encoding). The tick is green if the desired Loudness is reached (+/- 1LU), LRA and ...

Re: Filterchain issue

Wow, thanks richardpl! That's it!

I didn't know
richardpl wrote:You can only use one -af.
The following code works now:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -ss 30 -t 1 -i "in" -af "aeval=val(0)|-val(1)",channelsplit,amix,astats -f null -
(There was just a " missing)

Many thanks!

Filterchain issue

I'm trying to identify if a stereo file is actually a "dual mono" or a "true stereo", i.e. exactly the same content on the Left and Right channel or not. Here is my process. If you have a better idea, let me know... 1. take a subset of the InFile (to reduce processing time) 2. Invert the phase of th...

Re: WinLoud released. Loudness normalize with Loudnorm.

Manolito, thanks for sharing your position on the legal question. Ok, we have a different approach. Fine with me. I think we can leave it as is and agree to disagree... ;) No hard feelings. Now purely on the technical level: I understand your decision and think it is a good one (nothing personal). T...

Re: WinLoud released. Loudness normalize with Loudnorm.

... I discovered that the slow speed issue is not completely fixed. You are so sharp manilito! Totally right. Is already fixed. Will be published in the coming days with the "as original" option for the Sampling Frequency. I still have to take care of the fact that mp3 supports only a limited list ...

Re: WinLoud released. Loudness normalize with Loudnorm.

Version 1.1 released on http://www.muxson.com/winloud Would you care to explain the bug? I was reading the FFmpeg StdErr too often. I just found another small bug: For the sample frequency this is what the CLI help says: -FREQ <freq> Sample Frequency in Hz (Default: 44100) <freq>: 32k, 44100, 48k If...
