Re: outdated ffmpeg latest filenames

I just realized this and entered here to see why.

Not fixed and not even an answer since November? I'd prefer this happened with .zip files, since .7z are much smaller.

Re: Script to help with cross compiling

Confirmed. Last night I downloaded latest version of cross_compile_ffmpeg.sh and added the option in line 1507, just after --enable-libzimg, left it compiling overnight and it worked fine. Thanks.

Re: Script to help with cross compiling

Sorry, I don't get it. Do you mean build_locally_with_various_option_prompts.bat in native_build\windows folder?

I have had a look to cross_compile_ffmpeg.sh and found config_options= in line 1517. Adding --disable-decoder=vp8,vp9 at the end of the string would suffice?

Re: Script to help with cross compiling

I would like to compile FFmpeg using your script with --disable-decoder=vp8,vp9 option. How could I?

Re: Script to help with cross compiling

I saw you 'revert inadvertent line' commit a few hours old and thought it could be that, as it was something about config options, and my ffmpeg reported too few of them. As the downloading-compiling takes hours I don't watch the messages, but I did it to test and there it was the librubberband-gpl ...

Re: Script to help with cross compiling

Thanks for the script. I've compiled FFmpeg myself because I'm interested in some recent commits. I've tried to create a VP8a video but it stops with error: C:\Temp>ffmpeg -i https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/14/Animated_P NG_example_bouncing_beach_ball.png -c:v libvpx -pix_fmt yuva42...

That' the solution. If you had followed my advice, you would have no problem.

Re: Invalid video start time when using -copyts

What if once you hardcode subs you use this?

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -i output.mp4 -c copy -map 0 output_fixed.mp4

Re: Invalid video start time when using -copyts

Your sample works with MPC-HC and ffplay but with VLC it shows black during 20 s and then you watch the video. Have you tried adding changing faststart to +faststart?
