Re: Invalid video start time when using -copyts

Sure, recreating container fixes the problem, but I don't think it should take 2 commands to get a properly working file.

Re: Invalid video start time when using -copyts

Just tried and issue persists.

I believe problem is related to -copyts because without this option video works correctly.
Without -copyts subtitles come out incorrectly so omitting it is not an option.

Invalid video start time when using -copyts

Hello, I noticed some of my videos don't play in Chrome and I decided to try to track down the issue. It seems when I use -copyts option incorrect time values get written into the file. In the example below I tried to encode 00:20 - 00:25 part of the video, aka. start at 00:20 and 5 seconds in lengt...

ffmpeg crash

Hello, today I was re-encoding some of my videos and noticed ffmpeg crashes on 3 videos. In all 3 cases I get exactly same error, so I attached smallest file that allows to reproduce the issue. Here's full console output (Win10 console messed up formatting): C:\Users\Zaoshi>"C:\Users\Zaoshi\Desktop\...

Re: Issue burning subtitles

Thank you. Managed to solve it. For those who encounter same problem here's the solution: 1. Create folder 'fonts' in your ffmpeg folder (for some reason any other folder does not work) 2. Copy attached file into 'fonts' folder (extract it; later it might update so don't depend too much on this vers...

Re: Issue burning subtitles

Sorry for late reply, my post required administrator's approval so I assumed I'd be notified by email. Sure: in.zip Lowered video bitrate to make file small; problem is still reproducible: MPC-HC shows subtitles just fine: Screenshot 2015-07-31 17.51.29.jpg Encoded version doesn't have any subs: Scr...

Issue burning subtitles

Hello, I am trying to burn subtitles into video, however for some reason subtitles don't get burned. Is something wrong with my command or it's some kind of bug? Here's console output (hopefully full): C:\Users\***\Desktop\ffmpeg>ffmpeg -i in.mkv -vf "scale=-1:480,subtitles=i n.mkv" -map 0:0 -speed ...
