Need Help for a script

Post by neo243 » Tue Aug 04, 2015 1:12 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to build a script to convert all Files from a Folder to MKV with Hevc codec.
I'm getting a error ""%~a" syntactic not possible"
I copied the code from a if script I created 1 or 2 years ago but I can't the mistake.

Code: Select all

for %%~a in ("input\*") do (ffmpeg -y -i "%%~a" -map 0 -c:v libx265 -c:a copy -c:s copy
"output\%%~na_265.mkv")
Is it also possible to set the inputfolder as outputfolder per variable?
i hope you can help me guys.

found the error the ~ in the source variable, now the script runs but instead of h.265 it uses h.264 :/
is there something wrong with the ffmpeg commands?
Greetings Neo

try adding an echo in there to see what it's trying to execute... (before ffmpeg for instance)
