Thats all well and good, but you have deprived people of it for over 3 years
now. Is the standard worth punishing those who would benefit from the script?

Most of the relevant external libraries today can be compiled with no modification and 3-4 commands (git clone ...; ./configure ...; make; make install).

All of the external libraries on my build machine were compiled one at a time, and I haven't written one script that compiles everything from the ground up.

If there are questions about compiling an external library I would be happy to share the commands I used.

OK I recently got around to adding what I believe are all the dependency libraries the zeranoe build includes to my build script, feel free to kick the wheels, feature requests welcome.

https://github.com/rdp/ffmpeg-windows-build-helpers/

Also includes support for a non free option with fdk-aac and NVENC.
Enjoy.

Just out of interest I wonder what zeranoe would indicatively charge for a custom build (being a simple user, I can't figure out which license type to select in the dropdown). Betting the quote mechanism is meant for Pros and corporates ...

eg windows static 32bit with all the latest patches, all libs in the standard build which z releases, avisynth and latest nvencv, 64 bit build the same but without avisynth.
Also not sure if a quote would be for a once off build or for nightlys for period of time.
I assume fully licenced.

There's no issue with you compiling a non-free build for yourself.

There's an issue however with someone else building a non-free build and distributing it to you.

Do you have any specific questions on compiling a library? There are many scripts available to assist in this...

A good place to start is finding out what external libraries you need to include.
