Video downloaded with RTMP Dump has missing frames

Postby DavJames » Wed Mar 12, 2014 5:21 pm

Hi, I'm trying to download WWE NETW0RK videos with RTMP Dumper. Works perfectly except usually a 3 hour video has a total of 1-2 secs worth of missing video frames somewhere in the video. The stream in the browser doesn't have missing frames so it seems to be a problem with RTMPDumper. I'm using these versions: rtmpdump-2.4-2013-12-22 and rtmpdumphelper 1.2.1

It doesn't seem to be caused by timed out downloads that resume later.

I can download the video again and then it won't have any removed frames but it would be great to be able to download it properly the first time without losing frames.

First try a newer build: http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=1024

Then post the command you used and the full output.

Looked at the first post on that page and it says: rtmpdump-20131205-git-dc76f0a-win32.7z.
I have rtmpdump-2.4-2013-12-22 so surely I have the latest version already?

Don't know what commands you're talking about. I just load rtmpdumphelper 1.2.1 GUI for RTMP dump and a browser video is captured automatically by rtmpdump command prompt.

Where do I find the info you're asking for?
