I can view the live stream in all my browsers (Opera 12, Firefox 3.6.28 and Chrome 34.0.1847.137), but not in ffplay, MPC-HC and VLC. The DirectShow based players complain about the certificate, while VLC and FFplay just do nothing.

CoRoNe (https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3572#p10122) wrote:Today when I did some testing with -c:v libx264 another fatal error popped up:

Code: Select all

(0xc000001d) occurred in the application at location 0x011e166a.
I have narrowed it down to ffmpeg-20150823-git-1bf76cd-win32-static.7z being the latest working build. ffmpeg-20150825-git-4c39892-win32-static.7z shows the fatal error.
I wrongfully assumed a ffmpeg commit was the culprit for this error, as I've recently found out that with AbeChin's ffmpeg builds I could once again use the libx264 video encoder.
Examining its build configuration and comparing it to mine I found original_cflags='-mtune=core2 -O3' to be the cause and original_cflags='-mtune=generic -mfpmath=sse -msse' to be the solution for my non-sse2 cpu.
This resulted in: ffmpeg-N-85093-g7942907-win32-static_legacy.7z

P.s. Zeranoe, the authentication process is on your forum is going haywire! If you'll have a look at the logs (I hope you can), then you'll see I had to login countless times before I could finally make this post. I'm somehow constantly automatically being logged out.

Thanks CoRoNe for for this build...

exactly what a poor WinXP user under a CPU which does not support SSE2 needs. rogerdpack seems to have stopped building XP compatible versions after v 3.1.2, so your efforts are more than welcome.

I do have a small request:
I absolutely need libfdk-aac enabled in FFmpeg since I use it a lot for audio conversions, and libfdk beats the native AAC encoder significantly. I do know about the GPL problem when libfdk is enabled, but maybe the way Sherpya does it would remedy the license problem. Sherpya enables libfdk in his builds, but he does not include the actual code in the executable. To make libfdk work the user needs to download the libfdk DLL separately and copy it into the FFmpeg folder. See here:
http://oss.netfarm.it/mplayer/

Would this be feasible for your future legacy builds?

Thanks again and Cheers

Hey CoRoNe, had to register just to say THANK YOU for this build! It was very helpful!

That sounds like a good idea regarding the libfdk-aac. I was doing my own builds just to enable this, but to be able to use it with the dll as manolito suggests would work just fine for me. But I'll take anything I can get and it sure was nice that you came along and publicly posted this build. Very user friendly of you.
