If your camera supports MJPEG codec (most modern cams do), you can use this command line to get native JPEGs compressed by webcam itself (may be better quality and lower cpu usage):

ffmpeg -f dshow -video_size 1920x1080 -framerate 5 -vcodec mjpeg -i video="Integrated Camera" -vcodec copy %d.jpg
