New XP compatible builds by Sherpya from Nov 16 2017

Just found out that Sherpya has released new XP compatible FFmpeg builds. Get them here: http://oss.netfarm.it/mplayer/ There are only static builds (32bit and 64bit) available, and contrary to CoRoNe's latest builds a CPU with SSE2 capability is required. The builds do support the libfdk-aac DLL wh...

Thank you so much... :D

Just tested the shared build under DVDStyler, works beautifully.

Re: Making Zeranoe builds work under XP & XP builds by rogerdpack

Maybe you did not look hard enough in the wayback machine... The FFmpeg shared version you are looking for is easy to find, but the Zeranoe shared versions also just include the DLLs and no Lib files. You probably need a Dev version for the Libs. Unfortunately the wayback machine only stores D...

Re: Making Zeranoe builds work under XP & XP builds by rogerdpack

Have you seen this post? https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2937&start=10#p12222 This is the latest shared version which works under XP. Otherwise you can use the wayback machine https://web.archive.org/ to find older versions. Yet another way to get older shared FFmpeg versions is...

Thanks so much CoRoNe for this new build... :D
Tested on my ancient computer (Intel Coppermine CPU without SSE2 support, WinXP SP 3), working beautifully.

Cheers

Re: Windows XP Support And Intel QSV

This promise to make XP compatible builds from time to time was made in March 2016. I think you better forget about it... The latest XP compatible shared build can be made by patching rogerdpack's build 3.12 from August 2016. I have uploaded it for you here: http://www13.zippyshare.com/v/rDL8OWwZ/fi...

Re: Making Zeranoe builds work under XP & XP builds by rogerdpack

Thanks CoRoNe for for this build... exactly what a poor WinXP user under a CPU which does not support SSE2 needs. rogerdpack seems to have stopped building XP compatible versions after v 3.1.2, so your efforts are more than welcome. I do have a small request: I absolutely need libfdk-aac enabled in ...

Re: Making Zeranoe builds work under XP & XP builds by rogerdpack

I can view the live stream in all my browsers (Opera 12, Firefox 3.6.28 and Chrome 34.0.1847.137), but not in ffplay, MPC-HC and VLC. The DirectShow based players complain about the certificate, while VLC and FFplay just do nothing.

Re: Making Zeranoe builds work under XP & XP builds by rogerdpack

Redid the tests for youtube-dl.exe only. I used the TLS version of FFmpeg and BOTH OpenSSL versions. For me your older OpenSSL version seems to work just as well as the new one. I redirected the FFmpeg output to files (disabled the debug option). See the attached file... Cheers manolito Results.zip
